cozy cabins

We spent 5 days here over Thanksgiving with 2 adults and 5 children. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and hang out. The backyard, creek, and firepit provided hours of entertainment every day. The nearby Cacapon State Park and Berkely Springs were fun to visit as well. The house is old and charming, but pretty clean. Very private- I think we saw another car come down the road one time during our stay. Couches could use an update, they're old and uncomfortable. Towels and linens were fresh and the kitchen was clean. The kitchen was stocked with basics, and we could make do with the selection of cooking utensils. The heaters in every room kept us toasty warm after playing outside. Cable tv and a fun selection of old Disney movies. There were some bugs, but mostly harmless ladybugs, and for a house in the woods near water, I expected that possibility. If you're looking for a cozy cabin "away from it all" to enjoy the outdoors, this place is awesome
